In July of 1888, Peter Leighton was asked to undertake a difficult and dangerous task—to rid the Rheinhardt Furniture Factory of the corruption that held it hostage. But, when he accepted the mission, he had no idea that he would lose so much...or that he would find a precious gem—Anna Spreyer.

Now, after laboring for a year to rebuild his life, Peter’s resolve and faith are tested once again as he comes face-to-face with James B. Wild III—a man determined to steal away the factory...and Anna. And, unlike Peter’s previous adversary, James Wild possesses the financial resources, the social status, and the ruthless ambition to succeed with his malicious plans.

Sequeling the story begun in To Repay A Debt, To Rebuild A Life follows Peter Leighton’s struggles and triumphs as he battles the shadows that force his soul—and his very existence—to the edge of a precipice.

Description of Content

Set amidst Michigan’s Victorian-era furniture industry, To Rebuild A Life continues the suspenseful and inspirational story line introduced in To Repay A Debt. This sequel follows both new and familiar characters as they struggle to overcome a tragedy and try to carve out a life for themselves in the late nineteenth-century Midwest. As with the first book, this historically based novel communicates a message of hope that is still relevant today.

Moose Run Productions acquired this title (previously released as Written in Sand, Written in Stone) after a well-received yet extremely limited release in the author’s hometown. Working with the author, Moose Run was able to revise, update, retitle, and reissue this novel as the second book in a series.

Audience

Both men and women have enjoyed To Rebuild A Life, and the wholesome Christian-based message makes it appropriate for readers of any age. In addition, the novel can be understood and appreciated with or without reading To Repay A Debt.
